The 1st Asian Youth Orchestra Festival

The 1st Asian Youth Orchestra Festival (the 23rd JYO Annual Concert) was held. NPO-WFAO supported the festival as a cooperating organization. The festival was attended by mainly youth musicians from Singapore, Korea, and other Asian countries, and 22 musicians from Japan gathered in Taiwan. The concert featured Akihiro Miura, concertmaster of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, as guest concertmaster and was a great success. The concert was an excellent opportunity for Asian youths to deepen their bonds and understanding through music.
