Urgent Notice about World Amateur Orchestra Festival in Tokyo 2020.

Dear participants from abroad,
I am writing to inform you that due to the unprecedented pandemic
situation caused by COVID-19, we regretfully have decided to forgo all
overseas invited members to participate in the festival this coming
June.
We have been preparing to make this festival a reality for several
years now. But nothing can compare to the importance of life. Please
accept my sincere apologies for such short notice and any
inconvenience this may have caused.
Also, I sincerely hope that your family and friends are all right in
this tragedy and we do hope that the situation will recover completely
as soon as possible. Besides the COVID-19, my heartfelt sympathies go
out to those who have been affected by the disaster in Croatia.
Finally, I do hope that we will be able to gather together again in
the very near future in order to make music joyfully.
“I wish you music to help with the burdens of life, and to help you
release your happiness to others.” – Ludwig van Beethoven
